Saying by to my uncle Kalab

On monday the second of march I didn’t attend school because my uncle was going back to Tonga and my family had to take him to the airport. My mum woke me and my sister’s up at 5:00am to get ready because we had to leave the house by 7:00am. His flight took off at 10:15am and he had to be there by 8:00am. I was so tired I slept in the car while we were going to the airport and the rest of my family was still awake.

When we reached the airport we went to weigh my uncle’s bags. While we were there we saw a lot of people that we knew. His big bag weighed 32 kg's. He had to pay one hundred twenty dollars because it was heavier than it was supposed to be. Luckily he had enough money to pay it. After that he gave me and my sisters $5 each but my older sister got $10. His little bag only weighed 6 kg's he had to have that bag with him during the flight.

After we finished weighing his bags we went on the eccalatorer to enter the 2nd level. We went to the Mcdonalds to get some drinks and Ice cream. When it was time for Kalab to leave we said bye to him. We all didn’t want him to leave because he was really kind and we would miss him very much.

My family had heaps of fun with my uncle he always use get us Ice every day. His favourite food shop was Toby’s seafood. Me and my family will miss him and we can’t wait until the next time he comes.
